Re: Approved Change to Architectural Guidelines to Expand Garage Door Options

Dear Homeowners:

Thank you to all the homeowners that took the time to comment on the proposed wooden garage doors. At the August 14, 2008 meeting, the Board of Directors reviewed all of the comments it received.

Most of the comments were very positive; therefore, the Board of Directors voted to proceed with expanding the Architectural Guidelines to allow the installation of the custom wood garage doors in the “Spanish Collection” by the company Ranch House Doors. Please be aware that Ranch House Doors manufactures many types of doors; only their “Spanish Collection” is approved for installation. We have posted photos of the Spanish Collection doors on the Del Lago website: dellagohoa.org.

Please be aware that this is an addition to our existing ARC Guidelines and all of the other types of doors permitted in the past are still allowed. As with all exterior modifications, architectural approval will be required for these doors along with your stain color selection.

The Board of Directors and Architectural Committee appreciate your input and looks forward to seeing this additional enhancement to our community!
